A New Year and a New Update! Today we’d like to share several updates for our Android and iOS DroneMobile users. DroneMobile 4.7 for Android and 4.5 for iOS include bug fixes, UI updates, and some exciting new features. Check out the details below!
DroneMobile v4.7 (Android)
Improvements
- Added vehicle search to the Map/Tracking screen.
- All-in-one Settings Navigation - Instead of having two separate menus for vehicle and account management, everything is now accessible from “Settings” in the lower menu.
- For updated guides on how to navigate the DroneMobile app, please visit https://help.dronemobile.com.
Fixes
- Fixed missing “Low Backup Battery Warning”
- Addressed issue related to vehicle not remote starting when “Show Commands” setting is enabled.
- Miscellaneous Bug Fixes
DroneMobile v4.5 (iOS)
Improvements
- New, customizable iOS 14 widget(asterisk) - Hold down your thumb on your iPhone’s home screen and press the “+” icon to add the DroneMobile widget! (Must update OS to iOS 14 or later)
- Opt-in for Analytics for improving the DroneMobile App.
The DroneMobile App still supports quick commands from iOS’s “Today” view. However, only the new iOS 14 widget will allow you to customize which vehicle and command are utilized.
Fixes
- Minor tweaks and improvements to the app user interface.
- Minor improvements, tweaks, and bug fixes for Apple Watch app.• Fixed vehicle deletion error.
- Fixed broken URL for “Find My Serial Number”
- Fixed Date/Time picker issues associated with iOS14.
- Resolved “Maintenance Reminders” alert rule creation bug.
